Student Living in Radford, Nottingham

Situated right between Nottingham Trent and Uni of Nottingham’s campuses, Radford is a great choice for students studying at either university.

Rental student properties in the area tend to come at a more affordable price than other areas such as Lenton and Arboretum, but as it’s so close to these other areas you can still benefit from living near other students!

Radford itself has lots to be explored and should not be overlooked!

Radford is full of incredible restaurants and pubs including, The red-brick Castle Pub, which carries an amazing yet simple British menu and regular live music.

After a night out you can go wake yourself up with an amazing breakfast at the family run Jo’s Pancake House; they offer freshly prepared pancakes, breakfast, and much more in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The Café is dog friendly and has free Wi-fi for customers. It’s a great place to eat if you require a vegan or gluten free dish. Whilst the prices vary on these dishes they are well worth it!

As well as all the restaurants there’s a vibrant multicultural food scene to make your cooking as authentic as possible.

Amazing fresh food stores include Goldens Sharif & Sons Superstore and Medina Continental Food Store.

There are plenty of International food stores such as: Krakus Food Store, the Persian Supermarket, Wilkos International, African Caribbean Food Store and Yomade Favourite Foods African Store.

And for those of you with a sweet tooth, dessert parlours include Cake Box and Adnan Sweet Centre.

As well as plenty of places to eat, there are lots of things to do, including visiting the Nottingham Climbing Centre, the New Art Exchange, Djanogly Community Leisure Centre, and it’s just a 10 minute walk to the beautiful Nottingham Castle.
