Grayson Heights

Unipol has a student development in this area of Leeds. It is much more affordable than developments in the city centre. Despite being further from the Universities, it is still in a fantastic location where there is loads to do to keep you busy like the city centre, but in a quieter, more residential area. The building is called Grayson Heights.

Students living in Kirkstall can enjoy the best of both worlds – picturesque walks down by the Abbey, followed by a short trip into Central Leeds for the busy night life.

There are several hair and beauty salons located throughout Kirkstall, including a barbers and a spa both within 5-10 minute walk from our Grayson Heights Building.

Valley Retail Park is located only 12 minutes walk from Grayson Heights. This park has a number of useful retail stores including The Range, JD Sports, Pure Gym, Morrisons, B&M Bargains, and Specsavers.

Places to visit

Kirkstall Abbey – One of the best preserved Cistercian monasteries in the country, founded over 800 years ago.

Kirkstall Valley Nature Reserve – Kirkstall Valley Nature Reserve combines the industrial past with today’s vibrant wildlife communities. A keen eye might spot otters or kingfishers by the weirs on the River Aire.

Vue Cinema and Hollywood Bowl can be found down Kirkstall Road if you fancy an afternoon out. You can also stop at Nandos or KFC while you’re there for a quick bite to eat. This is best reached by bus – Bus 33 or 34 will get you there in under 15 minutes.

Headingley Stadium – There are regular Cricket matched hosted at this venue. If you enjoy the cricket and fancy an afternoon watching wickets, this might a good place to explore.
